Organized by the Taiwan Textile Federation (TTF), the 2025 Taipei Innovative Textile Application Show (TITAS) successfully concluded on October 16. This year’s exhibition featured 388 exhibitors from 10 countries, occupying 904 booths in total. According to TTF statistics, 31,889 visitors attended the three-day event, with an estimated USD 60 million in potential business opportunities generated.
The 2025 TITAS centered on three key themes — Sustainability, Functionality, and Smart Manufacturing — showcasing Taiwan’s textile industry’s innovation under net-zero transformation and digital upgrading. In terms of sustainability, exhibitors actively presented developments in recycled fibers, ocean-reclaimed and bio-based materials, alongside technologies such as digital product passports and low-carbon manufacturing, embodying green design and production across the product life cycle. For functional applications, exhibits covered sports, leisure, medical, and protective categories, offering multiple advanced features such as smart temperature regulation, antibacterial cooling, and protective structural design to meet growing market demand for comfort and performance. Under smart manufacturing, TITAS demonstrated integrated applications ranging from intelligent fabric inspection, virtual sampling, and 3D fabric databases to IoT-enabled smart factories, further enhancing production efficiency and customization capabilities — reaffirming Taiwan’s vital role in the global textile supply chain.
